Booking terms
The short, fair version of what you agree to when you book, and what we agree to in return.
Last reviewed September 2026. Draft for the client to review before launch.
Booking and payment
- A place is confirmed when payment is received. Payment is by card through Stripe at the time of booking.
- Prices are as shown on the site on the day you book: Woodland Day £45, Wild Week £225, Stay and Play £10 a session booked by the term, Pudding Club £15 a person.
- We do not currently accept childcare vouchers or Tax-Free Childcare.
- Before the first session you must complete the consent form in your parent account, including medical and additional needs and two emergency contacts. Without it we cannot take your child.
Cancellation and refunds
- Cancel 14 days or more before the session and we refund in full.
- Inside 14 days we move your booking to another date free of charge, subject to space. No refund.
- If we cancel, for weather, illness or any other reason, you get a full refund or a swap, your choice.
- Stay and Play terms are non-refundable once the term has started, but sessions missed for illness can be swapped where space allows.
Weather
We run in rain, cold and mud. We cancel only for winds above 40 mph, lightning, or ground conditions that make the site unsafe. We will tell you by 7am on the day.
Ages
- Woodland Days and Wild Weeks are for children aged 5 to 10.
- Stay and Play is for children from walking to 5, and a parent or carer must stay for the whole session.
- Pudding Club is for adults only.
Drop-off and collection
Holiday club runs 8:00am to 5:30pm. Please be on time. Children are released only to adults named on the booking or who give the agreed password. Late collection beyond 15 minutes is charged at £10 per quarter hour.
What to bring
A packed lunch (no nuts), a named water bottle, old clothes, waterproof coat, wellies or boots, spare socks and a hat. We provide waterproof over-trousers, tools, and fireside snacks. Please do not send phones, devices or valuables.
Behaviour and safety
Children agree to the fire circle rules on the first morning. Tools are used only with a licence and under supervision. If a child’s behaviour puts themselves or others at risk and we cannot resolve it, we will call you to collect them, and may decline future bookings. No refund is due in that case.
Illness
Please keep your child at home for 48 hours after vomiting or diarrhoea, and if they have a temperature. Tell us about any medication your child needs during the day; we can only give it with written instructions.
Photographs
We take photos only of children with photo consent, and use them only as you have agreed.
Liability
We hold public liability insurance. We take all reasonable care, but Forest School involves managed risk and children will get muddy, and occasionally scratched. Personal belongings are brought at your own risk.
Complaints
Talk to the leader first. If that does not resolve it, put it in writing through the contact form and you will have a written reply within 10 working days.
